Alver Linnamägi and Tõnu Tunnel held an exhibition at Hobusepea Gallery that focused on the subject of happiness and self-fulfilment, with the aim of bringing at least some order and try to map our society, which sees happiness as an ongoing state of euphoria, obsessively demanding it as something self-evident. However, we always remain insatiable, having doubts about the sufficiency of what was achieved. Physiologically, the sensation of happiness should be the result of simple yet well-functioning brain chemistry. In practice, however, it is the classical ‘sex, drugs & rock ’n roll’ that is applied most. What does the world introduced by Linnamägi and Tunnel look like, and could it be considered credible?
